How to accept defeat

Some times you have to accept defeat. Your expectations were high. Usually this comes from setting high expectations of yourself. Or perhaps your boss set unreasonable expectations. But the fault remains with you.

You are the person responsible for setting a clear mandate or at least spoken about capabilities and what is possible.

Defeat may feel like failure. But if you do it graciously all is not lost.
